And the price difference between the two isn't too huge, in fact if the 960 had a price drop similar to the other Maxwell cards, it would be better price to performance over the 1050(ti), even for the same amount of VRAM. Alas, it doesn't even beat a 960 most of the time. If one were to predict 1050(ti) performance based on previous Pascal releases, it should have performed around 970 level. Especially when one considers how the other Pascal cards fared against the Maxwell cards. This is the exception not the norm and only applies on very small number of cases.
